Cheese Block Weigh Scale/Turner

This machine was developed to resolve an ergonomic issue for production staff at a Cheese plant, where the production staff check the weight of the 20kg cheese block after it has exited the blockformer, and the block then has to be turned to orientate correctly to proceed to a automated bag gussettor, for the neck of the bag to be gusseted prior to being sealed in the BetaVac packaging machine.

This machine has eliminated the need for the production staff to manipulate physically one step of the 20kg block.

At a production rate of up to 8 tonnes per hour, this is a significant weight lifting reduction for the production staff.
