The MFLO Evaporator is a Rising Film Vacuum Vapour Compression Evaporator.

The MFLO Evaporator is rather efficient and the compact modular design of the evaporator is suitable for many applications where concentration of a product is necessary or alternatively distillate is required. Typical applications in food processing, waste treatment, recovery of product and water desalination etc. etc. will ideally suit the MFLO Evaporator.

The MFLO design is extremely compact with a footprint of 1100 x 1100mm and 2000mm high and is self contained.

The footprint of the MFLO is such that multiples of the MFLO will fit ideally in a shipping container which could be configured to be retained as the housing of the evaporation station.

The machine can be scaled up dependent on the application, the MFLO has an estimated throughput of 200 litres x 20 hours = 4000 litres per day and the other 4 hours may be utilised for CIP - cleaning. The design is such that four units can be placed together in a quad to provide 16000 litres of evaporation per day.
